ICZM in Germany
In Germany, an ICZM-strategy was developed on national level by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Some legal instruments had to be adapted to the ICZM-aims. The elaboration of the national strategy is supported by the development of reference projects. The implementation of the national strategy will be ensured by the purchase of defined aims:
- Optimization of the legal instruments
- Improvement of the conditions for the dialog-process.
- Development of best practice projects
- Development and implementation of ICZM-Indicators.
