Who we are?

EUCC-France counts about sixty members, three of which being major national agencies involved in coastal protection and management (Conservatoire du Littoral, Office National des Forêts, Entente Interdépartementale pour la Démoustication), one joining together elected people from coastal municipalities (Association Nationale des Elus du Littoral) and a local authority (Conseil général de l'Herault).

Activities

EUCC-France's mission is to promote reasoned coastal and marine management, which conciliates natural dynamics, landscape integrity, social practice and economical development.

EUCC-France advocates any action increasing public awareness in these issues, and also exchange of ideas, dialogue and even partnership between scientists, experts, managers and elected representatives, thanks to field workshops, diffusion of brochures, public conferences and scientific symposiums.
